Comfortable win in Plate as Storm defeated

Dundee Ladies had no problem against Aberdeen Storm in their play-off game in Craigie High School. Laura Ward and Nicola McKenzie were in top form as they moved smoothly to a 17/6 lead. Agnes Badnarek and Emma Clarkson added service aces and McKenzie finished off the set with 2 hits to win the set 25/10.

There was more resistance from Storm in the second set but McKenzie, Hannah Lawrie and Katie Stewart all weighed in with scores to take the set 25/11.

The third set was one-sided with great defence from Agnes Bednarek and Erin Cattanach setting up counter attacks for McKenzie, Ward and Lawrie. Dundee won the set 25/10 for a swift 3/0 win. They will face City of Edinburgh ll in their winners’ semi-final on 19 March.
