Men power through two games to top the table

A trip to Edinburgh for the men secured 2 3/0 victories.  The first game against NUVOC ll was straight forward with Dundee’s 3 big hitters, Mike Coward, Tony Gadzhev and Lewis Crockart all scoring freely to secure victory 25/11, 25/18, 25/14.

Their next game was against the well travelled side from Shetland.  Dundee’s 3 big hitters were too strong again for the islanders but 7 points given away by Dundee gave a respectable score of 25/18 in the first set.  Rad Marinov and Oz Dowie were both [prominent in the second set, scoring blocks and points in counter attack to give Dundee the set 25/16.  There was little resistance from Shetland in the third set as the Dundee side dominated and strolled through to take the set 25/11 for another 3/0 win.  These wins lift them to the top of League 1 with 5 wins from 5 games with only 1 set dropped.
