Club Values and Code of Conduct

Dundee Volleyball Club is one of the oldest in Scotland and has been actively contributing to the Scottish Volleyball landscape since 1968. Our aims and values remain the same, which is to develop and promote the sport, allowing everyone to play volleyball.

Our attitudes should be optimistic, future-oriented, and process-focused. When people become members, we expect players to adopt our core values when then enter the gym hall:

  1. No baggage: we always leave the baggage of the day in the changing room, before we enter the gym hall
  2. Work harder than everyone else: you get out what you put in!
  3. Reflect and Review: take a second and half after a point to monitor your own performance and focus on what’s next
  4. TCUP: Think Clearly Under Pressure
  5. Push back: when someone pushes you, push back harder
